Why should I take a workshop with Sheila Finch?

This is a one-day seminar/workshop in novel writing and marketing -- all genres of fiction. Sheila will discuss planning and writing novels, query letters, finding agents, avoiding scams, and other related matters. Students may also bring the first five pages of their novel to read aloud for group critiquing. (see rules for group critiques here)

Sheila is also available for private, personal evaluations of your novel. She will read and comment on a ten page synopsis and up to 20 pages of the novel for an additional $50. The student must submit this material by mail at least two weeks in advance.
